Following the success of The B2B wholesale trading platform created for the leading UK fashion label Anya Hindmarch by Hitura, the system will be used by them at London Fashion Week 18th Sep - 23rd Sep.
Large international retailers including Harrods, Selfridges and Bloomingdales will for the first time be able to order the new collection for 2006 straight off the catwalk and have their orders placed on the day. Assistants with wireless access to the trading platform will place orders online for stores using laptop terminals. After the show stores will be able to review and adjust their orders online before the collection is finally manufactured, saving valuable time and providing real transparency and convenience for the retailer. Equally, slight design changes to their orders can be communicated to retailers before the launch of the collection keeping customers up to date with the quick moving world of the design houses.
The B2B wholesale trading platform has so far been a great success with international customers pre-ordering the new Anya Hindmarch collection for the coming season online. Whilst famous for her picture bags, her new collection encompasses a move to a much larger product range beyond bags with hundreds of products and thousands of variants.
