Hitura are pleased to announce they have been commissioned by Extreme Music (www.extrememusic.com) to create a bespoke content management system to power a commercial online archive of MP3 music. They needed to rationalise the global distribution of their music by driving their existing flash jukebox from one single web based data source. The site involves sophisticated flash integration with an SQL server database of several thousand tracks all searchable through the flash web front end.
The site offers excellent value for the client as they can update the way the music is categorised via the content management system. The flash movie automatically builds its navigation based on what the client has chosen creating cost savings for Extreme Music in terms of agency time. Moreover issues with version control are eliminated by rationalising the content distribution process.
