Award Winning Fashion Designer Anya Hindmarch Commissions Hitura to produce a New E-Commerce Store
The British Fashion Council's 'Accessory Designer of the Year 2001' Anya Hindmarch awarded Hitura the brief to create an e-commerce site for both the consumer and trade online stores. In line with Anya Hindmarch becoming a globally recognised fashion brand demand has increased for the products and with it the importance of the new site to provide the right architecture for growth.
The site will allow traditional continuity products such as 'Be A Bag' and 'Bespoke Ebury' to be customized and bought securely online, through a user-friendly online store. Moreover, the new site will offer exciting new product lines to the user such as shoes and clothing, playing a vital part in the brand's expansion.
The brief was awarded on the ability of the agency to make more than just a website, but a system that reflected their business needs creating genuine business advantages through efficiency. By connecting internal ERP and accounts systems to the website data can be created once and published once, avoiding duplicate data storage formats. New collections can be brought online quickly - a vital advantage, in a business that changes so quickly.
The B2B site is planned to launch in late December and the B2C site to follow in January.
